the knowes hotel & restaurant has a lovely location and stunning views. our twin room was modern yet cozy, very clean, and had everything we needed. the friendly staff made us feel at home. we couldn't resist eating there every night because the food was excellent, especially the risotto and fish and chips!

I had a lovely stay at The Knowes Hotel & Restaurant. The room offered stunning sea views, which made waking up a delight. The decor throughout the hotel stood out. it had a charming mix of modern touches and cozy elements. The staff were extremely kind and attentive, always ensuring that I had everything I needed. the stairs posed a challenge for managing my luggage. It would be great to have more seating in the room as well. Dining was a highlight. the breakfast was freshly cooked and absolutely delicious. Unfortunately, the hotel didn't have any Scottish draught beer options available. This place truly feels like a home away from home, but addressing these minor inconveniences would make it even better.
